Editorial team and method
Marie Lefèvre-Dubois has written about Belgian gambling sites since 2021 and opens an account at every operator where bonus terms always comes first. Lives and works in Liège.
The outbound links earn us a fee; what we write is independent of that fee. Even with a well-paying partner the verdict holds.
How we test. we register like any other player, put an amount in via Bancontact, file a withdrawal request and measure it through to the account. Licence status is verified directly with the Gaming Commission and read the bonus terms line by line. What we have not seen ourselves, we do not write.

Limits, age and EPIS
The Belgian legislator approaches player protection above the European average in strictness and you feel it on the first deposit. Every licensed site applies a default deposit limit of β¬200 per week. Downwards it goes without an intermediate step, raising it needs a check and a waiting period.
The EPIS system is the regulator's central exclusion list: whoever registers is barred everywhere immediately, online as well as offline. Registering costs nothing. Since 1 September 2024 the minimum age is 21 for casino, gaming hall and betting; for the National Lottery 18 remained the rule. A trial account falls under it too.
